Gambia Bird Airbus with distinctive A J Walter Aviation livery opens the gateway to West Africa
London, October 2012: Gambia Bird Airlines has launched its first Airbus A319. The plane is flying with a unique paint scheme featuring the name and logo of global aviation company A J Walter Aviation. The A319-100 with the registration code D-ASTA will be deployed on the entire Gambia Bird flight network, including routes between West Africa and Europe.
The special AJW livery is positioned over the wings, at the centre of the plane’s fuselage. A pop art-style female figure, which is also part of AJW’s eye-catching corporate identity, is distinctively portrayed reclining on the wings of the plane.
Gambia Bird Airlines is supported by the Germania Group which has a long-term power-by-the-hour contract with A J Walter Aviation. It will commence commercial flights on October 22nd 2012.
