GESTAIR CARGO FLIES TO DUBAI AND DELHI WITH ITS NEW B767-300 BDSF

Madrid, February 2011.- Gestair Cargo, division of the Gestair Commercial Aviation business unit specialized in the transport of air cargo, has received the first of two B767-300 BDSF which has been put into operation on 26th January. The aircraft, the first of its type in Spain, will operate on an ACMI basis for TNT Airways for which Gestair Cargo already operates a B757-200 PCF.

This first aircraft will cover the route Liege-Dubai-Delhi-Liege, with five weekly rotations, whilst the second B767-300 BDSF will start to operate in March on the route Liege-New York – Liege.

The new B767-300 BDSF has a cargo capacity of more than 54 tons, and has been operated as a passenger aircraft for different companies before its conversion into freighter at IAI in Tel Aviv/Israel in 2010.
