GetJet Group to Build €25 Million MRO Facility at Vilnius Airport

GetJet Group will expand its aircraft maintenance capabilities with the construction of a new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility at Vilnius International Airport after securing a long-term development site through a land lease auction.

The group’s subsidiary, Airhub Aviation, has been awarded a 40-year lease on an 11,200-square-meter site and plans to invest approximately €25 million in a new state-of-the-art MRO hangar. Once operational, the facility is expected to create more than 100 new jobs.

The investment forms part of GetJet Group’s long-term strategy to strengthen its technical capabilities and expand its integrated aviation services platform. The new facility will increase the group’s in-house maintenance capacity, improve operational flexibility and broaden the range of technical services it can provide to airline customers worldwide.

GetJet Group Chief Executive Officer Darius Viltrakis said expanding the company’s MRO capabilities is a key strategic priority that will enhance technical independence while supporting the group’s continued international growth.
