Gulf Air forced to defer resumption of flights to Iran

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, sincerely regrets to announce that the proposed dates of resuming its services between Bahrain and Iran have been deferred while waiting to receive approval from the Iranian Civil Aviation Authority to operate flights as permitted under the terms of the bilateral agreement.

Gulf Air will commence flights on 1 October 2012 subject to Iranian authority approval. The national carrier and apologises to those passengers whose flights have to be deferred and reassure them that it is working hard with the relevant authorities to re-launch services as soon as possible.
