Hawaiian Airlines Appoints Theo Panagiotoulias to Senior Vice President - Global Sales and Alliances

HONOLULU – Hawaiian Airlines has appointed Theo Panagiotoulias to the position of senior vice president – global sales and alliances. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing Hawaiian Airlines’ global sales strategy, including partnerships with corporate, leisure, community and travel trade clients and key distributors in all of its markets worldwide, and also the company’s strategic alliances with other airline partners. Panagiotoulias reports to Peter Ingram, Hawaiian Airlines’ executive vice president and chief commercial officer.

“Theo’s extensive experience in commercial airline sales and alliances throughout Oceania and Asia will be key in maximizing our company’s growth,” said Ingram. “We look forward to his leadership of our sales and alliances team in reaching our sales and business goals.”

Panagiotoulias brings more than 20 combined years of experience in sales, airline and travel industry to Hawaiian Airlines. He previously served as the vice president and general manager for the technology company Sabre, Inc. in Singapore, where he was responsible for all commercial and operational activities for the organization’s airline community and partnerships across the Asia/Pacific region. Prior to this, he spent 15 years at American Airlines, where he held several key leadership positions in sales and operations in Australia, China, Japan, and Singapore.

Panagiotoulias graduated from Haileybury College in Melbourne, Australia. He also honed his skills as a business leader through his completion of the Cambridge Advanced Leadership Programme.
