HSH Nordbank refinances Boeing 747-400 Freighter for Cargolux Airlines

Hamburg/Kiel, March 13, 2011 – HSH Nordbank has provided a refinancing in respect of one Boeing 747-400 Freighter aircraft to Cargolux Airlines. HSH Nordbank is the sole arranger and underwriter of this transaction.
Through this deal, HSH Nordbank continues its long-standing business relationship with Cargolux Airlines. ‘We are very pleased that through this transaction we are able to support our key customer Cargolux once again,’ commented Angela Behrend-Görnemann, Head of Aviation Finance at HSH Nordbank.

Cargolux Airlines is one of the world’s leading cargo airlines. Its fleet includes eleven Boeing 747-400 Freighter aircraft. Furthermore, Cargolux is the launch customer of the B747-8 Freighter, with the first aircraft to join the fleet mid 2011.
