Icelandair: Two Boeing 757-200 aircraft added to the fleet

Due to the expansion in our international route network the Company will deploy 18 aircraft in its operations next summer, as compared to 16 aircraft in the summer of 2012. Two Boeing 757-200 aircraft have been purchased. Both aircraft will undergo the usual modification process to meet the Company’s standards prior to being taken into use. The purchase price, which is confidential, was paid for with Icelandair Group’s own funds. The aircraft should be ready for use next May.
