ILFC JOINS PARTNERSHIP TO DEVELOP WORLD-CLASS AVIATION TRAINING FOR TOP-LEVEL EXECUTIVES IN CHINA

LOS ANGELES — (BUSINESS WIRE) — Oct. 17, 2013 — International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), a wholly owned subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG), announced today at a launch ceremony held in China that it has partnered with Beijing-based Tsinghua University to develop an innovative executive MBA program for high-potential Chinese aviation professionals.

“China is a key market for ILFC,” said ILFC Chief Executive Officer Henri Courpron. “We believe that continuing education is key to advancing our industry and effectively supporting the current and future needs of the aviation market in China.”

The two-year MBA in Aviation Management program will cover a wide range of aviation-related subjects, and will allow the Chinese executives to hone their strategic management skills in the sectors of airline, airport, air traffic management, as well as aircraft design and manufacturing. In addition to providing scholarships for participants, ILFC’s expert staff will be involved as speakers in the program.
