Jet Midwest Acquires 9 MD-80 aircraft from American Airlines

Kansas City based aircraft trading company Jet Midwest Group, LLC has successfully concluded the purchase of 9 MD-82 and MD-83 series aircraft from American Airlines. Jet Midwest intends to make the aircraft available for lease and sale to it’s customers.

“We are very excited to add these aircraft to our portfolio. The aircraft are in outstanding condition and we imagine most if not all of them will be returned to service” says a Jet Midwest Group rep.

Jet Midwest also owns Kansas City based MRO Jet Midwest Technik which has recently added MD-80 and 737 series aircraft heavy inspections to it’s capabilities list.
