Jet Midwest Technik Selects New Vice President of Business Development

Tom Corum joined Jet Midwest Technik in Kansas City, MO on October 24, 2011 as the Vice President of Business Development.

Tom comes to Jet Midwest Technik after three years in the financial services and business brokerage industry. Previously, Tom spent over 30 years in the aviation industry having spent two years at Empire Aero Center (now Premier) in Rome, NY, where he was the Vice President of Operations, and later Executive Vice President of Business Development. Tom also spent 22 years at TWA, where he was the Director of Contract Services responsible for TWA’s 3rd party MRO business. After TWA, Tom also spent one year at Aero Corp (now TIMCO – Lake City), where he was the Vice President of Sales. Furthermore, after Aero Corp, Tom was Vice President and Business Unit Director of JcAIR Test Systems, a Goodrich Aerospace Company, located near Kansas City, MO.

Jet Midwest Technik, a member of the Jet Midwest Group, is an MRO center equipped and staffed to service narrow and wide body aircraft. Capabilities include heavy maintenance inspections, structural repairs and modifications,flight line maintenance, aging aircraft programs and aircraft stripping andpainting. The facility has more than 1.2 million square feet of hangar space.
