Hot off the back of a hugely successful winter Olympics, Jet2.com, the leading leisure airline, has today launched two new services from Edinburgh to Geneva and Manchester to Turin, ready for the 2014/2015 winter sports season.

Turin is a brand new destination, with Jet2.com operating Manchester Airport’s only direct scheduled service to this popular ski gateway. The new service will operate during peak ski months with weekly flights departing Saturday mornings from 20th December 2014 to 11th April 2015. Geneva is Jet2.com’s third ski destination from Edinburgh Airport, complementing existing services to the popular winter sport spots of Chambery and Salzburg. Both Geneva and Turin are gateways to winter sports paradise: Geneva being the perfect location for access to the best resorts in the Swiss and French Alps including Morzine, Chamonix and Verbier and Turin close to ‘The Milky Way’, which itself hosted many of the 2006 winter Olympics.
