K2 Aviation Acquires Six-Aircraft Portfolio from Carlyle

K2 Aviation has agreed to acquire six Airbus and Boeing aircraft from Carlyle Aviation Partners, expanding its portfolio through its first transaction with the global aircraft lessor and asset manager.

The aircraft are currently on lease to five airline customers. K2 did not disclose the individual aircraft types, operators or financial terms of the transaction.

K2 expects to complete the acquisition of all six aircraft by the end of the first quarter of 2027.

The portfolio transaction is being supported by Franklin Templeton Benefit Street Partners, Merit AirFinance, Vedder, KPMG, A&L Goodbody and EY.

The acquisition adds a diversified group of aircraft and airline credits to K2’s portfolio while establishing a new trading relationship with Carlyle Aviation Partners.
