KfW IPEX-Bank and SMBCE finance A 380 for Emirates

KfW IPEX-Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited (SMBCE) have closed financing on one new Airbus A380-800 aircraft for Emirates Airline under an Export Credit Agency (ECA)- supported facility fronted by COFACE. Closing and delivery of the aircraft took place end of December 2012, the banks are joint arrangers of the 12-year loan covering the aircraft. KfW IPEX-Bank is acting as agent and security trustee.
