Korean Air to introduce direct flights to Yangon from September

SEOUL, South Korea – Korean Air is to launch a nonstop service from Incheon International Airport in Seoul to Yangon, the largest city and centre for trade, industry, entertainment and tourism in Myanmar starting from 13th September.

Korean Air’s new service to Yangon will be operated by B737-800 aircraft with Boeing Sky Interiors and a total capacity of 138 seats. Passengers can enjoy a variety of in-flight entertainment programs with a state-of-the-art AVOD (Audio Video on Demand) system installed in all classes. Additionally, the expanded overhead bins and spacious legroom will ensure extra comfort for passengers.

Korean Air’s new service to Yangon will depart from Seoul Incheon every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 18:05 and will arrive in Yangon at 21:40 the same day. The return flight will depart from Yangon at 23:20, arriving in Seoul Incheon at 07:40 the next day.

With a flying time of approximately six hours, this new Korean Air route ensures travellers from Europe, the Americas and other Asian countries, experience hassle-free journeys to Yangon via Incheon International Airport.
