Lufthansa Consulting: Specialists for aviation strategies present airport economics and network planning

From 8 – 10 July 2012, Lufthansa Consulting will attend Routes Africa in Victoria, Seychelles. The aviation experts welcome airport and airline representatives to exhibition stand no. 5 in the refreshment area.
Specialists from the airport team will highlight cost-cutting models and air service development strategies which make airports attractive to new potential buyers or investors.
The consultants will also present the “Rent-a-plan” service, a solution to help small and medium-sized airlines plan their fleets and networks. The benefit is the speed and reliability of planning and scheduling without causing additional overhead costs. The service provides comprehensive support, data and expertise tailored to each individual airline. It was first introduced with Estonian Air which has been using the approach successfully since October 2011.
Recent projects in Africa include the start-up of ECAir, the flag carrier of the Republic of the Congo with the development of the fleet and network plan and the start-up of Camair-Co, Cameroon’s national airline. Airport privatization projects have been carried out for clients in the Republic of the Congo and Burkina Faso and airport economics and strategy development for an airport in South Africa.
