Monarch Aircraft Engineering sign deal with BA CityFlyer

Award winning, independent aircraft maintenance provider, Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL), has signed a line maintenance technical handling agreement with wholly owned British Airways subsidiary, BA CityFlyer.

With immediate effect MAEL’s highly experienced engineering team will provide support for the UK based airline’s fleet of Embraer E170 & E190 aircraft operating into Malaga. In addition to the technical services provided, the storing of components forms part of the contract.

Commenting on the agreement, Operations Manager for MAEL, Stuart Pestell said, “Following our recent Embraer approval we are very pleased to announce that BA CityFlyer has selected us to support their operation in Malaga.”

Dave Cooper, Line Maintenance Manager for BA CityFlyer said, “We are delighted to be working with Monarch’s line maintenance team in Malaga. Their commitment and professionalism makes them an ideal business partner for BA CityFlyer.”
