Monarch Passenger Numbers January 2013

Leading scheduled leisure airline, Monarch, recorded strong passenger numbers in the first month of 2013 with more than 232,000 customers travelling to destinations across Europe and the Mediterranean.

Monarch’s passenger numbers increased by 19% in January 2013 compared to the same month a year ago.

(1) Represents the number of earned seats flown by Monarch. Earned seats include seats that are flown whether or not the passenger turns up because once a flight has departed a no-show customer is not entitled to change flights or seek a refund.
