Monika Kircher Was Newly Appointed to the Supervisory Board of Austrian Airlines

Monika Kircher (56), Chief Executive Officer of Infineon Technologies Austria AG, was elected at today’s Annual General Meeting to serve as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Austrian Airlines AG. She succeeds Ms. Theresa Jordis, who unfortunately passed away earlier this year.

“I am pleased that we have gained a recognized manager and financial expert, namely Monika Kircher, as a new Member of the Supervisory Board of the company“, says Harry Hohmeister, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Monika Kircher has been on the Board of Management of Infineon Technologies Austria AG since 2001, and was appointed to the position of CEO in the year 2007. In addition, Ms. Kircher serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Siemens AG Austria, a Member of the Supervisory Board of KELAG, a Member of the Board of the Federation of Austrian Industries (Industriellenvereinigung) and is also Vice-President of FEEI trade association of electrical and electronics industries. The Austrian-born manager from Spittal/Drau was Vice-Mayor of Villach before commencing her professional career at Infineon. She studied at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and in Mexico City.
