More sunny escapes this winter with airberlin

In winter 2014/15, airberlin will operate additional flights from Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne-Bonn and Nuremberg to Mediterranean and North African holiday destinations.

“There is great demand for holidays in the Mediterranean all year round. So we are expanding our winter schedule to include twelve additional flights,” said Detlef Altmann, Senior Vice President Sales Touristic Service at airberlin.

The airberlin winter schedule will include one additional non-stop flight from the Berlin hub to each of Funchal, Hurghada and Santa Cruz de la Palma. Numerous feeder flights are available for these. A second weekly non-stop connection will be offered from Hamburg to Tenerife-South, enabling travellers to fly to the Canary Island every Wednesday and Saturday. The winter schedule now also includes three airberlin flights a week from Cologne-Bonn to Antalya on the Turkish Riviera.

Every Tuesday from November, five new airberlin flights will take off from Nuremberg to Marsa Alam, Hurghada, Agadir, Funchal and Santa Cruz de La Palma. Connections can be booked from Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne-Bonn, Leipzig and Paderborn. Also, as planned, airberlin’s winter schedule will still include flights from Nuremberg to other holiday destinations such as Djerba, Hurghada, Enfidha, Antalya, Fuerteventura, Tenerife-South, Las Palmas and Arrecife.

Tickets are available with immediate effect and can be booked online at airberlin.com, via the airberlin Service Center on 030 3434 3434 (local rates apply) or through a travel agent.
