Neil Poland Bolsters Vedder Price Global Transportation Finance Group

(Chicago, IL) January 30, 2014—Vedder Price, together with Norton Rose Fulbright, is pleased to announce that Neil Poland, the current Global Head of Aviation at Norton Rose Fulbright, will join Vedder Price’s Global Transportation Finance practice next month as Partner in firm’s London office.

Mr. Poland has a significant practice that spans Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the United States. He regularly acts for clients in the aviation, rail and banking industries on asset and structured finance deals, including restructurings and operating lease structures, export credit financings, public debt issues and aircraft delivery.

His rail industry experience includes acting on behalf of financial institutions on capital markets financings, as well as bank syndicates on the financing of European locomotives and leading passenger rolling stock operating companies (ROSCOs).

Prior to his tenure with Norton Rose Fulbright, Mr. Poland worked for the London offices of law firms Slaughter and May and Clifford Chance, respectively. He is qualified in England and Wales.
