The Group Manager Director/Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Titus Naikuni, will be retiring at the end of November 2014, after 11 illustrious years at the helm of the national carrier, Kenya Airways Ltd – “The Pride of Africa”.

In January this year, the board of directors engaged the services of an international executive search firm, Spencer Stuart Ltd., to assist in identifying a successor to Dr Naikuni as Group Managing Director & CEO.

Kenya Airways is pleased to announce that the Board has reached a unanimous decision and has given the role of Group Managing Director & CEO to Mr Mbuvi Nguze, who is currently the Chief Operating Officer for KQ, with effect from 1st December 2014. The Board will lend its full support to Mr Nguze in leading the KQ team in running the company business.
