New organisational structure of Alitalia

Roma, 26 February 2013 – The Chairman of Alitalia, Roberto Colaninno, has today defined a new organisational structure for the Company.

Reporting directly to the Chairman are:
Deputy Director General – “Corporate” in the person of Paolo Amato, to whom the following departments report directly: “Administration, Finance and Control”; “Purchasing & Services”, headed by Francesco Festa, and “Productivity Management System”, an essential function to the management of the Company which will define a new system to measure and improve the productivity of the Group.
Deputy Director General – “Business” in the person of Giancarlo Schisano, to whom the following departments report directly: “Operations”, “Chief Commercial Officer”, headed by Gianni Pieraccioni, “Ground & Information Systems”, headed by Gianluigi Di Francesco, “Security”, headed by Aldo Saltalamacchia.
Also reporting directly to the Chairman are:
“Human Resources”, headed by Giorgio Rossi;
“Legal & Corporate Affairs”, headed by Rita Ciccone;
“Corporate Communications”, the head to be appointed;
“Auditing function”, headed by Antonio Perno.

The Chairman of Alitalia, Roberto Colaninno, together with the two Vice-Presidents, Elio Catania and Salvatore Mancuso, have agreed on the steps to put in place to select the new CEO once the ideal professional profile and skills have been defined.
