Nok Air and Don Mueang International Airport Welcomes Scoot

BANGKOK, Thailand (September 1, 2014)–Nok Air, Thailand’s number one premium low cost airline today celebrated the official move of Singapore’s Scoot from Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK). The celebratory event was attended by Nok Air CEO Patee Sarasin, Scoot CEO Campbell Wilson, and Acting Deputy Director Don Meaung International Airport Kasem Wongsomsri. Scoot’s move to join Nok Air’s hub kicks off the interline service between the two airlines that was previously announced.

The interline service between the airlines will enable passengers to book a single ticket and connect to any destination within Nok Air’s domestic network. The convenience of the interline service means passengers will be able to book a single ticket from Singapore to Mae Sot, or from Sydney to Chiang Rai.

“Nok Air is very happy and excited to welcome Scoot to Don Mueang. This will open up a lot of opportunities as we strengthen our partnership as well as offer passengers on both airlines unparalleled convenience while travelling domestically or internationally,” said Patee Sarasin, CEO of Nok Air.
