Panta Holdings and Denim announce management buy out

Today Panta Holdings B.V., sole shareholder of Denim Air ACMI B.V. (hereinafter: Denim) announced that Denim has been sold to its senior management. As an independent aircraft operator Denim will continue to offer ACMI wet-lease and (ad hoc) charter services, but also intends to expand operations to scheduled services.

Over the years Denim has become an established aircraft operator in the ACMI wet-lease and (ad hoc) charter markets. Denim operates its fleet of Fokker 50’s, Fokker 100’s and Embraer ERJ145’s on ACMI wet-lease and (ad hoc) charter basis for a wide variety of tour operators, travel agents, sports teams, governments, the military and NGO’s, not only in Europe but also in the Middle East and Africa.

“As Denim we will continue to offer ACMI wet-lease and (ad hoc) charter services, but we also intend to start operating scheduled services in the first quarter of next year. We are in the process of evaluating a number of possible routes and suitable aircraft types. We expect to be able to communicate further details shortly.” commented Ronald Janssen, Managing Director/CEO of Denim.
