PEMCO Completes First B737-300 Freighter for Plane Business Leasing

TAMPA, Fla. (August 19, 2014) – PEMCO World Air Services (PEMCO) today announced the redelivery of its inaugural Plane Business Leasing aircraft, a B737-300 freighter (MSN 28567). The conversion was completed at PEMCO’s partner facility COOPESA (San Jose, Costa Rica).

Plane Business Leasing secures classic and new generation aircraft to provide affordable leasing options for airlines. The U.K. based company supports growing airlines and offers a variety of lease options and quality aircraft priced to market value.

PEMCO’s 737-300 passenger to freighter conversion was selected for its market-leading reliability and operating economics, its superior cargo door and associated systems, and unrivaled two million hours of safe, dependable operations. This B737-300 has a versatile 9-position ANCRA cargo loading system, 3,900 ft3 (110 m3) of main deck volume, 1,068 ft3 (30 m3) of lower cargo volume, a maximum payload 43,100 lbs (19,550 kgs), and industry-leading all-weather-operations capability including winds up to 60 knots.

“When it came time to select a conversion partner, PEMCO was top of mind amongst Plane Business Leasing’s executive team,” said Hal Gamble, CEO of Plane Business Leasing. “The experienced management team and efficiency of PEMCO’s partner technicians at COOPESA make them a valuable asset in aircraft conversions. We look forward to working with PEMCO in the future as we continue to add aircraft to our global fleet.”
