Renewal of EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING EASA Approval

As EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING (EGME) is seeking for continuous improvement and compliance with the regulatory requirements, the company succeeded to renew the EASA part 145 approval, especially after adding new aircraft types: B757-200/300, B767-200/300, Airbus A330-200/300 powered by GE CF6 and Embraer E190/195 to the company’s current capabilities to serve EGYPTAIR fleet as well as attracting more customers operating different aircraft types.

Eng. Hussein Massoud, Chairman and CEO of EGYPTAIR Holding company stated that “EASA inspectors have conducted extensive audit on all the company’s activities and related facilities in line maintenance, base maintenance, overhaul workshops and engine workshops.”. He added that “The audit was carried out in Cairo base maintenance, Sharm El Sheikh and Dubai stations.”

All activities and applicable procedures were checked to evaluate their compliance with the applicable regulations and the personnel competency in respect to understanding the rules of regulations together with the company’s procedures and the technical tasks they are assigned to perform. The result of this audit reveals the perfect compliance with the regulatory requirements.

It is expected to receive the annual EASA audit on all EGME activities within the coming few months.
