Republic Airways Holdings Reports August 2014 Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Republic Airways Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET) today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for August 2014.

The Company generated more than 1 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in August, an 11% increase over the same period in 2013, on a 9% increase in available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours increased 2%, and the load factor increased one percentage point from the same period in 2013. Republic Airways carried more than 2 million passengers, a 5% increase compared to August 2013.
