Republic Airways Reports March 2013 Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for March 2013. The Company generated approximately 1.6 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a decrease of 12% from March 2012, on a 14% reduction in capacity. Block hours were 3% less than the same period in 2012. Consolidated load factor increased to 83% from 80% in March 2012. Republic Airways carried 2.6 million passengers in March, a slight decrease from the prior year.
