Ryan Opeka Appointed Senior Vice President And General Counsel At Jackson Square Aviation

San Francisco, CA – October 1, 2014 – Jackson Square Aviation, a full-service aircraft leasing company based in San Francisco, announces the appointment of Ryan Opeka as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, effective October 1, 2014. Mr. Opeka succeeds Carol Chase, who passed away after a 30 year professional relationship with Jackson Square Aviation’s Senior Management.

Ryan Opeka has extensive experience in negotiating and documenting aircraft leases with major airlines worldwide. He also has worked on various structured financings, including aircraft secured loans, shareholder financings and PDP facilities. Prior to joining Jackson Square Aviation, Mr. Opeka served as Vice President and Counsel with Macquarie AirFinance in San Francisco. Previously, he worked with Vedder Price as part of their Global Transportation Finance group in Chicago.

In his new position, Mr. Opeka will lead an accomplished legal team that supports Jackson Square Aviation’s corporate, international, and business legal matters. His responsibilities will span the company’s corporate, contractual, litigation, compliance, and other needs.
