Sabena technics opens its ATR component warehouse in Singapore

Sabena technics is expanding its offer for the Asia-Pacific region even further by opening its own ATR component warehouse in Singapore.

The warehouse is located in Changi Airport Free tax zone, very close to Changi International Airport, thus allowing fast transport of aircraft components. This expansion of services will significantly simplify material supply, transport and customs procedures for ATR customers enabling them an even more direct access to aircraft material on a 24/7 basis.

“With more than 25 years of experience on ATR’s MRO, we aim to cover all our Asian Pacific customers’ operational requirements and improve their fleet’s availability by providing them with innovative and customized support. This is why we are very proud to announce this opening especially in a demanding and growing market such as the ATR one”, said Philippe Delisle, Chief Executive Officer of Sabena technics asia. “The warehouse has been operating since August 1st and we have already noticed its efficiency in supporting our customers”, he added.

All requests for pool access, consignment stock and repairs capabilities are dealt with the company’s worldwide AOG desk available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, ensuring the continuity of fast and efficient service:

The facility also includes inter alia AOG, critical and fast mover rotables to be able to face ATR’ customers demanding operations and maintain a seamless service of spares provisioning.

“This warehouse is also the opportunity for us to improve our support on other aircraft types, such as Fokker F100, as well as get closer to Australian operators." concluded Philippe Delisle.
