SINGAPORE AIRLINES A380 TO SERVE LOS ANGELES FROM JULY 1

Singapore Airlines will operate the Airbus A380 superjumbo on the Singapore-Tokyo Narita-Los Angeles route beginning July 1, 2011.

The launch, initially scheduled for March 27, 2011, was postponed following the March 11 earthquake in Japan. Los Angeles will be the eighth destination in the Singapore Airlines network to receive scheduled A380 services.
