ST. GEORGE, Utah, July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — SkyWest, Inc., (NASDAQ: SKYW) (“SkyWest”) reported a 1.7 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for June, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 0.4 percent compared to June 2011. Passenger boardings for June increased 4.5 percent to 5,289,995 compared to 5,064,487 for the same period last year. The combined airlines generated 2.71 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 3.24 billion. Load factor increased to 83.5 compared to 82.4 in June 2011. SkyWest also reported an increase in departures to 125,345 for June compared to 121,295 for the same period last year.
