Strategic Airlines to fly Brisbane-Bali non-stop - Airbus A330, full service and $359* fares from today

10 DECEMBER 2010

New international carrier Strategic Airlines today announced its latest new route – Brisbane non-stop to Denpasar, Bali^, with flights commencing 19 March 2011.

Fares for the new flights go on sale from today starting at $359* one-way or $671* return, inclusive of taxes at www.flystrategic.com and through participating travel agents.

Strategic will operate the flights departing Brisbane every Wednesday and Saturday, with a dual-aisle Airbus A330 aircraft featuring 30 business class seats and 243 economy seats.

Strategic’s head of commercial, Damien Vasta, said the carrier was introducing the A330 service in response to strong demand in the Brisbane market.
“Currently Bali is enjoying huge popularity with Australians and yet most airlines offer a no- frills service on what is a reasonably long flight,” he said.
“We believe our passengers will really enjoy flying on a wide-bodied Airbus A330 with the comfort and customer service of a full service carrier, at very affordable fares,” he said.

“Bali has always been one of the most popular international destinations for Brisbane holiday-makers due to its affordability, and Strategic is not only creating a new service to fulfill this need, but providing the most competitive fares available,” Mr Vasta said.

From 19 March 2011, Strategic Airlines’ flights will depart Brisbane Airport each Saturday and Wednesday morning at 8.30am and arrive in Denpasar at the local time of 1.00pm. The return flights will depart Denpasar at the local time of 2.45pm every Wednesday and Saturday, and arrive in Brisbane at 10.10pm.

^Subject to Government approval *All fares are for flights booked via www.flystrategic.com are inclusive of taxes, fees and charges. Fees for telephone bookings will apply. All fares are subject to availability and may not be available on all flights.
