Texel Air Australasia Appoints Peter Sheehan as Managing Director

Texel Air Australasia has appointed Peter Sheehan as Managing Director – Australasia, effective 22 July 2026, as the cargo airline prepares for its next phase of growth across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region.

Sheehan brings extensive aviation, airport and logistics experience to the role, having previously led cargo strategy initiatives at Sydney Airport, contributed to the development of Western Sydney International Airport’s cargo precinct, served as an airline chief executive and held senior executive positions across the air freight sector.

Based in Brisbane, Sheehan will oversee the leadership, strategic execution and commercial performance of Texel Air’s Australasian operations. His responsibilities will include driving business growth, strengthening operational performance, enhancing customer relationships and supporting long-term organizational development.

The newly created position reflects Texel Air’s strategy to expand its regional presence and capitalize on new commercial opportunities while reinforcing its leadership team for future growth.
