THAI Cabin and Safety Crew Train for A380

Thai Airways International (THAI) recently sent a team of cabin and safety crew to Toulouse, France for the Airbus A380 Type Specific Cabin Training in preparation for the aircraft commencing operations in 3rd quarter 2012.

Mr. Kitti Siripong from THAI’s Safety Training Department and Mr. Somchart Sa-nguansuk from THAI’s In-flight, Equipment, Technical Training/Analysis Department led the team to Airbus Head Office in Toulouse, France, for the A380 cabin training. The team trained in accordance with the four-day Airbus Type Specific Cabin Training procedure for a total of thirty-two hours training.

THAI’s training team were introduced to the various A380 training programmes including cockpit familiarization, virtual cabin information, communication systems and emergency equipment, through theoretical and practical studies to familiarize the team in operational and emergency equipment on board.
