THIS WINTER, FLY OFF TO PANAMA WITH AIR FRANCE

• 25th destination for Air France-KLM, European leader in Central and South America and the Caribbean
•New Air France gateway in the region thanks to the powerful Copa Airlines hub at Panama-Tocumen airport

Starting 25 November 2013, Air France will operate a scheduled service to Panama City, with three weekly flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, thus expanding its network to Central and South America and the Caribbean.

Flights will be operated by Boeing 777-200 equipped with 309 seats, including 35 in Business, 24 in Premium Economy and 250 in Economy.

This new route is in addition to the daily flight operated by KLM from Amsterdam-Schiphol and will enable Air France and KLM customers to benefit from an even wider choice of connections thanks to the powerful Copa Airlines hub at Panama City-Tocumen airport, notably to Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala and Nicaragua.

Next winter, Air France and KLM will operate ten flights to Panama every week and 200 flights to 25 destinations in Central and South America and the Caribbean*.

The launch of the Paris-Charles de Gaulle – Panama City route, implemented with the support and cooperation of the Government of Panama, particularly its Minister for Tourism, Salomon Shamah, confirms Air France-KLM’s position as leader in this region.

Panama’s economic expansion is driven by major projects such as the extension of the Panama Canal in 2015 and the construction of the subway in Panama City in 2014, but also by the development of tourism. More than 80 multinational companies have their Head Offices based in Panama, for their activities to Central and South America and the Caribbean.

Flight schedules (in local time)

Starting 25 November 2013, flights to and from Panama City will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays:

• AF 474: leaves Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 1:30pm; arrives in Panama City at 6:30pm

• AF 475: leaves Panama City at 10pm, arrives at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 2:10pm the following day
