Transaero Airlines Operational Results For January-March of 2013

Moscow, April 18, 2013 – Transaero Airlines unveils its operational results for the first three months of 2013 that demonstrate the company’s stable development and highlight all key performance indicators’ growth.

In January-March 2013:
•Revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) increased to a total of 10,151 million, a 20.0% growth over the first three months of 2012
•Number of passengers carried reached 2,190,483, a 23.8% increase comparing with January-March 2012
•Freight turnover grew to a total of 988.8 million tkm, a 19.9% rise over the first three months of 2012
•Transaero delivered a total of 12,856 tons of cargo, up 12.9% from January-March of 2012

In the first three months of 2013 Transaero passenger traffic grew by 25.7% on domestic routes and by 23.3% on international in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

Summarizing the operational results for the first three months of 2013, Olga Pleshakova, General Director Transaero Airlines, said: “We are satisfied with the achieved results. The most important is that the airline continues its steady development both on the domestic and on the international routes. The high passenger load factor that on average reaches 85% proves that Transaero product is highly demanded among the airlines’ clients.”
