Transaero Airlines Unveils Its Operational Results for January-June 2013

Moscow, July 24, 2013 – Transaero Airlines reports its operational results for the first six months of 2013. The results demonstrate the company’s stable development and highlight growth across all key performance indicators.

In January-June 2013:

• Revenue passenger kilometers (RPKs) increased to a total of 21,933 million, a 21.5% increase over the first six months of 2012

• Number of passengers carried reached 5,491,042, a 26.4% increase compared with January-June 2012

• Freight turnover grew to a total of 2,138 million tkm, a 20.2% rise over the first six months of 2012

• Transaero delivered a total of 29,000.7 tons of cargo in the first half of the year, up 5.9% on January-June 2012

Commenting on the operational results, Olga Pleshakova, Transaero Airlines CEO, said: “We are satisfied with the results of our work and the achieved growth rates. The first half of the year saw such important developments as an active launch of flights on a wide route network from Moscow Vnukovo airport, as well as preparing the Strategic Partnership Agreement with UTair Aviation. The prestigious awards received by the airline this year provide evidence of the high level of professionalism of all company’s employees.”
