UIA launched non-stop scheduled flights en route Kiev – New York

Friday, April 25, 2014, Ukraine International Airlines operated the carrier`s first ever transatlantic flight – a non-stop scheduled flight en route Kiev – New York. Thus, UIA resumed non-stop air traffic between Ukraine and the United States of America after the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) had transferred Ukraine back to the first category according to safety criteria under the International Aviation Safety Assessment Program (IASA) on September 19, 2013.

UIA flights to John Kennedy International Airport are operated on modern Boeing 767 aircraft with three-class cabin configuration – Business, Premium Economy, and Economy.
