UTair Confirms Compliance with International Standard for Operational Safety
UTair Aviation has successfully passed the regular compliance audit for the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) international standard for operational safety, or IOSA. UTair has been on the IOSA Registry since 2008. The results of this most recent IOSA audit extend the validity of UTair’s certificate of compliance to October 12, 2015.
The international audit covered the airline’s core activities: organizational structure and management, operations safety, flight planning and control, airworthiness and MRO, cabin safety, ground handling, freight transport and aviation security.
Inclusion on the international IOSA registry confirms UTair’s compliance with international standards for operational safety in operations and service quality. At present 18 Russian airlines have valid IOSA certification.
