UTair Group Passenger Turnover Grows 23% in First 10 Months of 2014

UTair Group performance indicators demonstrate sustainable growth for the first ten months of 2014. In the reporting period, UTair Group aircraft transported a combined total of 9,105,663 passengers, an increase of more than 10% over the same period in 2013. Passenger turnover for the reporting period reached 19,389,325.5 PKM, an increase of 23% over same period in 2013. Growth in the international air transportations segment reached 44%. Passenger load factor grew by 4% over the same period in 2013 and reached a total of 81%. UTair Group delivered 4,005.01 tons of mail, 63.59% more than for the same period in 2013.

Positive dynamics has also been registered in UTair Group helicopter operations segment. Rotor-wing aircraft logged a total of 124,003 flight hours. I n the first ten months UTair Group helicopters delivered a total of 85,867.40 tons of cargo and transported 615,729 passengers.

Growth in UTair Group performance indicators reflects the successful implementation of the Impulse program for improving the airline’s efficiency and optimizing its route network and fleet. Interim results demonstrate the relevance and timeliness of this strategic initiative.

According to preliminary estimates, the implementation of Impulse program activities is expected to reduce UTair Group production costs by up to 10 billion rubles by the end of 2015.
