UTair Passenger Turnover Grows 34.5% for January-August 2012

UTair Aviation has continued to show significant growth in several key indicators over the past 8 months. In period between January and August 2012, UTair Group aircraft transported a combined total of 5,656,613 passengers, an increase of 34.5% in comparison to the same period in 2011. Passenger turnover for the reported period constituted 10,547,492.3PKM, an increase of 37.6%over same period in 2011. The industry average for growth in this indicator stands at 15.6according to the Transport Clearing House.

In total, UTair Group fixed wing aircraft logged a total of 196,739 flight hours, 20.5% more than for the same period last year. The UTair Group aircraft delivered 17,360.5 tons of cargo, 56% more than for the same period in 2011.

UTair Group helicopters logged a total of 109,933 flight hours, 24.6% more than for the same reporting period last year.
