VEB-leasing To Finance Delivery of Sukhoi Superjet 100 Aircraft to UTair Aviation

On August 27 2013 UTair Aviation, VEB-leasing and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft signed a trilateral agreement at the International Aerospace Salon MAKS.

In line with the contract VEB-leasing will purchase six Sukhoi Superjet 100 LR aircraft from Sukhoi Civil Aircraft with catalogue price of USD 217.2 mln for their further lease to UTair Aviation. The delivery of the single-class cabin aircraft seating 103 passengers will begin in 2014.

The signatories of the agreement included VEB-leasing General Director Vyacheslav Soloviev, UTair Aviation First Deputy General Director Andrey Ilmensky, and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft President Andrey Kalinovsky.

The realization of the agreement will promote the fleet renewal of UTair, the expansion of the airline’s domestic and international route network and the development of domestic aircraft industry.
