Werner Aero Acquires Second Embraer E190 for Dismantling

Werner Aero has acquired an Embraer E190, MSN 19000600, from AerCap, marking its second acquisition of the aircraft type in October 2026.

The aircraft is located in Greenwood, Mississippi, where it will undergo dismantling to recover serviceable components for Werner Aero’s aviation aftermarket inventory.

The transaction follows the company’s earlier acquisition of an E190, MSN 19000050, which was delivered to Toulouse Francazal Airport in France for dismantling.

Together, the two acquisitions expand Werner Aero’s Embraer E-Jet portfolio and increase its supply of spare parts for airlines, maintenance providers, aircraft lessors and other aftermarket customers.

Werner Aero, based in Mahwah, New Jersey, specializes in aircraft acquisitions, dismantling, asset management and component sales. Financial terms of the latest transaction were not disclosed.
