WestJet Airlines optimizes staff travel management with myIDTravel from Lufthansa Systems

WestJet has opted for myIDTravel, the integrated ID travel management solution for staff travel from Lufthansa Systems. With myIDTravel, the Canadian airline can introduce selfservice e-ticketing for flights of staff members on WestJet and other airlines. Furthermore, WestJet can reduce costs through a high level of automation and comply with the industry mandate of replacing paper ID tickets by 31st March 2012.

myIDTravel is an integrated solution for the efficient management of business and private ID travel. Furthermore, myIDTravel offers advantages for airlines by streamlining processes – from maintaining ID agreements and eligibility rules to revenue accounting and interline settlement. Airline employees also benefit greatly from using myIDTravel because they can conveniently purchase, change, issue and refund electronic tickets for their trips.
