CARLSBAD – Aviation executive Ron Boros has been named senior vice president for corporate development and technical operations at California Pacific Airlines.

Boros has more than 23 years of professional aviation experience, both as a pilot and management of jet aircraft companies. He was a demonstration flight pilot for Bombardier/Canadair in Montreal. While at the Canadian aircraft firm, Boros became a specialist in the company’s Challenger aircraft production as well as being responsible for budget development, operational cost analysis, training, and sales.

In 1997, Boros founded Shearson Aviation, a Canadian aircraft management company, and in 2006, he co-founded Jet-A, an charter company. He is an airline transport-rated pilot with more than 10,000 hours worldwide on heavy-jet aircraft, flying numerous heads-of-state, including a U.S. president, celebrities, and notable U.S. and Canadian CEOs.
