Ryanair Launches New Aberdeen To Faro Route

Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, today (21 Sep) extended its Aberdeen summer 2017 schedule with a new route to Faro, in addition to its 2 new routes to Alicante and Malaga already announced, which will deliver 75,000 customers p.a. at Aberdeen International Airport.

Ryanair’s Aberdeen summer 2017 schedule will offer 3 exciting sun destinations, lower fares as Ryanair passes on lower fuel costs, and an even better customer experience, as it rolls out year 3 of its “Always Getting Better” customer experience programme, and will deliver:

3 new routes: Alicante (2 weekly), Faro (2 weekly), Malaga (2 weekly)
75,000 customers p.a.

Ryanair’s Head of Communications, Robin Kiely said:

“We are pleased to extend our Aberdeen summer 2017 schedule with a new route to Faro, which will operate twice weekly in addition to our other new routes to Alicante and Malaga, and will deliver 75,000 customers p.a. at Aberdeen Airport.

Seats on our new route to Faro are on sale now from just £24.99, which are available for booking until Monday (26 Sep). Since these amazing low prices will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto and avoid missing out.”

Aberdeen International Airport Managing Director, Carol Benzie, said:
“We’re delighted to announce another fantastic new route with Ryanair, following the earlier news that they will return to Aberdeen in February with routes to Alicante and Malaga. As the main point of entry to southern Portugal and the stunning Algarve region, Faro has long been a popular destination with holidaymakers in Aberdeen.
The results of a leisure survey that we undertook earlier this year suggested that our local community would like to see the introduction of year-round flights to Faro. We listened to the feedback and have worked closely with Ryanair to respond to the demand. The twice-weekly service will begin in May 2017 and the arrival of 75,000 new customers per year to the airport will tie in with the exciting £20million revamp of our main terminal.”
