ATR Names Vittorio Lorenzo Della Bella CEO and Patrick Bergues CFO

ATR has appointed Vittorio Lorenzo Della Bella as chief executive officer and Patrick Bergues as chief financial officer, with both executives taking up their positions on November 1, 2026.

Della Bella will succeed Nathalie Tarnaud Laude as CEO following the completion of her term under ATR’s bylaws. He joins the regional aircraft manufacturer from Leonardo Helicopters U.S., where he currently serves as president.

His previous roles include senior vice president of customer support, services and training at Leonardo Helicopters, overseeing an organization of approximately 2,500 employees supporting more than 4,500 helicopters and 1,300 customers. He has also served as managing director of NHIndustries and held positions spanning program management, business development and international industrial cooperation.

Bergues will replace Andrea Coccetti, who is moving to another position within Leonardo. He joins ATR from Airbus, where his most recent positions include CFO of Airbus in the U.S. and CFO of Starlab Space.

Bergues has more than three decades of aerospace finance experience across aircraft financing, corporate finance, insurance, risk management and business control, including roles covering Airbus commercial aircraft, helicopters, defense, space and services.

ATR is jointly owned by Airbus and Leonardo, with the appointments maintaining balanced representation between the two shareholders within the company’s executive leadership.
