Erik Thun AB has signed an agreement with Lars Wingefors AB (LW AB) for the sale of the Örebro-based aircraft maintenance company Täby Air Maintenance AB (TAM) and three Saab 2000 aircraft. The deal marks a natural next step in TAM’s development and means that the company
gets a new owner with the ambition to further develop the business within both civil and defense-related aviation.

It therefore feels very positive to hand over to an owner who shares our view of long-termism and quality, says Henrik Källsson, Vice President of Erik Thun AB.

Täby Air Maintenance AB has offered advanced maintenance and modification services for regional aircraft since 1989, with a particular focus on Saab 340, Saab 2000 and ATR. Under Erik Thun’s ownership, the company has continued to grow and strengthen its position in the market, not least through its contribution to a more sustainable and technologically advanced aviation.

The sale also includes three Saab 2000 aircraft, which will complement LW AB’s existing fleet and be offered on the leasing market. The combination of aviation assets and TAM’s qualified maintenance expertise creates good conditions for continued development.
