euroAtlantic Airways Adds A330-300 on Lease from Jackson Square Aviation

euroAtlantic Airways has added an Airbus A330-300 on lease from Jackson Square Aviation, expanding the Portuguese carrier’s widebody fleet as it grows its ACMI and charter operations.

The 15-year-old aircraft will be registered CS-TGI following regulatory approvals. It arrived in Beja, Portugal, on August 17 after a delivery flight from Kuala Lumpur.

The A330 is configured for 290 passengers across Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins. The Business cabin features lie-flat seats, while individual inflight entertainment screens are installed throughout the aircraft.

The addition increases euroAtlantic’s capacity for long-haul wet-lease and charter assignments. The airline said further fleet additions are expected in the coming months as part of its strategic growth plan.

euroAtlantic currently provides ACMI capacity to LOT Polish Airlines, including service between New York and Warsaw, and to Azul on routes linking Lisbon with Campinas and Porto with Recife. It also operates services involving Madrid, government contracts and regular flights to São Tomé and Bissau.

The carrier is owned by investment manager Njord Partners. Jackson Square Aviation CEO Kevin McDonald said the A330’s economics and operational flexibility make it suitable for euroAtlantic’s global ACMI and charter network.
